BROOKS's Story
My name is Brooks and I am a black domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 5 months old. I am at the shelter because I was found as a stray on 09/12/2025. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs. My foster parent had this to say about me: Brooks is such an interactive guy. He wants to be with you 24/7! He loves to be held, kissed, and snuggled. He is also super playful and will run laps with his siblings! He loves spring toys! He is such a sweet, low key guy. When he met new cats, he tried to groom them and love on them! He can always be found snuggling up to another cat or dog. MJ, Nikki, Brooks, Jagger, and Dolly are littermates who arrived as babies in critical condition. The combined efforts of staff and their incredible foster families, they are alive, healthy, and thriving! They were a BIG litter (a few of their siblings are already adopted) so they are spread between two different fosters homes. These adorable babies are READY for adoption and READY to love on you!
