As always adult supervision is required when kids are playing with kittens!<br/><br/>Litter box trained: Yes!<br/><br/>From underneath an abandoned car to exactly where they were always meant to be...<br/><br/>When our founder spotted a little family hiding underneath an abandoned car while out of town in a rental car with no supplies and no plan, these two boys with their sister and mom were barely hanging on, it was clear these tiny guys had already been dealt a pretty rough hand.<br/><br/>Loading them up was the easy part, getting them healthy wasn't quick.<br/><br/>It's been a long road of care, patience, full bellies and a whole lot of love—but watching these boys become the kittens they are today has made every bit of it worth it.<br/><br/>Because you would never know it now.<br/><br/>At approximately 10–12 weeks old, Brooks & Cove have absolutely blossomed.<br/><br/>Brooks is the handsome all-gray tabby, while Cove is his equally handsome brother with the adorable white markings and little pink nose. They're different enough to tell apart, but when it comes to personality, these two are very much on the same page:<br/><br/>PLAY. PLAY SOME MORE. WRESTLE YOUR BROTHER. QUICK SNACK. PLAY AGAIN.<br/><br/>They're silly, curious, happy little boys who have discovered that indoor kitten life is actually pretty fantastic. Toys are amazing. Beds are great. Climbing things is even better. And apparently your brother's tail is a perfectly acceptable toy even when there are 47 actual toys lying nearby.<br/><br/>But their favorite thing?<br/><br/>Each other.<br/><br/>Brooks & Cove are incredibly bonded. They play together, sleep together, explore together and seem to have decided that whatever comes next in life, they're doing it side by side.<br/><br/>And after seeing where they started, that's exactly what we want for them.<br/><br/>There's something really special about watching kittens who once had to worry about simply surviving get to become completely carefree little goobers. Now their biggest problems are whose turn it is with the favorite toy, whether they can both fit in the same bed, and why the humans keep interrupting a perfectly good wrestling match to kiss their faces.<br/><br/>These boys fought hard for their chance to grow up.<br/><br/>Now they're ready for the fun part.<br/><br/>A home. A family. A ridiculous number of toys. Sunny windows. Cozy beds. Midnight zoomies. Years and years of being spoiled rotten.<br/><br/>And most importantly...<br/><br/>each other. <br/><br/>Brooks & Cove<br/>Approximately 10–12 weeks old<br/>Best friends • Brothers • Professional wrestlers • Expert snugglers<br/><br/>They survived the hard part together. Now they deserve to live the good part together.<br/><br/><br/>Our adoption fee is $650! They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines (age appropriate), dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!<br/><br/>You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyones time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.<br/><br/>We are very quick to respond and process applications! All animals are posted until they have gone home to their new family. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. Please apply quickly and be prepared to welcome them into your home within a few days if you are interested.<br/><br/>The Adoption Process:<br/>After our volunteers receive the application, they contact the potential adopter to set up an interview. During the interview they will:<br/>discuss the animal the adopter is applying to adopt,<br/>talk to the adopter about their experience with animals,<br/>find out more about the type of animal the adopter is looking to adopt,<br/>go over any questions the rescue may have regarding your application,<br/>help find the perfect fit for the adopter's family and lifestyle,<br/>and answer any questions the adopter has about the animal they are looking to adopt, the rescue, and how the adoption process works.<br/><br/>As part of the approval process, we require 2 non-family personal references. Our volunteers contact both references and have conversations regarding the potential adopter. If we are unable to reach the references provided, additional references may be requested. We also require a vet check. We will call the vet to conduct a short reference check.<br/><br/>A video walk-through of the adopter's home (and yard, if adopting a dog) is also required. The safety of our animals is one of our top priorities. They deserve to have a safe and secure place to live. The video can be sent to the Whiskers Fund email address or Facebook messenger upon submitting your application. When submitting the video, please reference which animal(s) you are applying to adopt.<br/><br/>Once the adopter is approved and matched with an animal, we will make arrangements for the animal to go to their new home. We hope to have each animal in their new home within a week. We are very clear that we will be keeping in touch and checking in for updates.<br/><br/>Interested in Fostering?<br/>We would love to have you join our family!
