Brooke's Story
Meet Brooke, who along with her housemate Blossom, were going to be left outside when their owner had a medical crisis and could no longer care for them. Fortunately, they made their way to Second Chance from another local cat rescue. Blossom has since been adopted.

Brooke is a striking, patch tabby with exquisitely long whiskers. She likes pets and can be quite a love bug. She also has a little bit of an independent streak so can easily amuse herself. She is a low maintenance but high reward kitty. Fun, pretty, and very social. One of the first kitties to greet visitors. Brooke would do best as an only cat so you can totally dote on her wonderfulness. While she is not too fond of other felines she may be compatible with a friendly dog with no interest in her.

Brooke would be great with a single person, couple or family. She is vocal and will let you know when she wants attention. She has personality plus! She is a confident kitty and knows what she likes and wants. Most of us would like these traits!

Brooke has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Brooke has an approximate birthdate of 09/25/2022. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Brooke or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
