Brooke's Story
Now here's a kitty that went from timid, nervous street cat to overly affectionate, super social butterfly lovebug! Brooke is sure to win you over with her sweet purrs and head rubs the moment she sees you. Pick her up, cuddle her, and give her lots of kisses - it's all good as far as she's concerned. Brooke is what we call a forever kitten due to her tiny size. This petite little girl is about 4-5yrs old, she grew up living on the streets and raising kittens most her life. Things weren't always easy for Brooke being a young mama her whole life. Before she was brought into foster care, she had lost so much weight due to having to fight her children for food. She also developed some dental disease (which required a few teeth being pulled during her spay surgery) which led to her not being able to groom herself, so she came to the rescue covered in mats (she's not rocking a lovely lion cut, but will look even more stunning once her gorgeous coat grows back). Now Brooke is healthy and gaining weight and living the indoor spoiled life she's always deserved. Though she lived in an outdoor colony with her adult sons, she seems annoyed by feline company, so we think she would thrive in a home where she can be the one and only and soak up all the love food and attention! Brooke would likely tolerate household with another cat or two, so long as they were laid back and kept to themselves and didn't try to befriend her.

This pet is altered (spayed/neutered), up to date on age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and microchipped. An adoption application must be submitted and approved prior to scheduling a meet and greet appointment: www.felinefinecatrescue.org/adopt.
