Brook's Story
Brook came to Good Mews from CCAS for a better chance at adoption. Brook was shy when she first arrived, but she eventually started to feel more comfortable with her new environment. She really isn’t buddies with any of the other cats, but she coexists with them just fine. She is very independent and likes watching what is going on around the shelter and at nap time, you will find her snuggled up in a bed. She does like humans and enjoys attention from them and likes it when they pet her, but when she has had enough, she will let you know. She can be a little swatty or nippy at times but we are optimistic that once out of the shelter environment, she will be a lot more relaxed and will show her true, loving personality.

Brook is a beautiful girl that really just wants a home where she will be loved and cared for. She would probably prefer being a single kitty but may do OK with one other cat that will respect her boundaries. She would also do best in an adult only home or with older children that have experience with cats.
