Bright Eyes is a sweet 31⁄2-year-old boy who's feeling very overwhelmed by the busy shelter right now. None of this was his fault, and he doesn't quite understand how he ended up here. But behind those cautious eyes is a loving, gentle soul just waiting for his person. Once he feels safe, Bright Eyes has so much love to give—and he'll blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion. He loves people and other cats. He listens when you have conversations with him. He just needs someone to see past the fear... and give him the chance he deserves. Please don't overlook the shy, scared kitties—they're often the ones who love the deepest.

Whiskers Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our cats and kittens are tested for FIV and FeLV and receive age-appropriate vaccines. They are spayed/neutered at 4 months of age. Younger kittens come with a voucher (included in their adoption fee) that may be redeemed for a free spay/neuter at Southbury Veterinary Hospital. Approved application and vet reference (or an interview, if you don't have a vet) required to adopt.
