An adoption co ordinator will be in touch. <br/>Brie and Jack were adopted a month ago, and the family loved them. Unfortunately a family member discovered he was severely allergic to the kittens, they tried everything but it was getting worse and they made the sad decision to return them to our rescue. They are now back up for adoption together<br/>Brie has been flea treated twice, dewormed twice, received both sets of FVCRP vaccines plus her rabies and microchip. Her spay next month by AVA will also be included in her $350 adoption fee. Brie is your typical playful kitten who loves the wand toys, springs and crinkle balls. She loves to cuddle and play with Jack AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. It is recommended that they start out in a safe room with their food, litter and toys until they adjust to a new environment. <br/>Her original story : Brie and her littermates Blue(adopted) , Jack , Colby(adopted) & Marble(adopted) were born November 30th, 2025 to their mother Mimosa - a pregnant stray who was abandoned in a rural area. .

Action Volunteers for Animals - Hamilton's Adoption Policy
All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens. AVA does not adopt out of province or out of country. Adopters should live within a one-hour radius of our locations in the Greater Toronto Horseshoe Area (GTHA). Due to the overwhelming volume of applications we are receiving, a response to short-listed applicants may be delayed. While we endeavour to contact short-listed applicants within 48 hours, a response may take up to a week. Adoption Fees: Standard adoption fees for cats and kittens include vetting, spay/neuter (at AVA's vets) , deworming, microchip, and initial vaccine at the time of adoption (FVRCP and rabies if age-appropriate). Additional fees may apply for cats who have had or are due for vaccine boosters prior to adoption. Testing for FIV/FeLeuk is not included unless specifically indicated, as testing is not standard practice.   As of April 1st, 2024 AVA’s adoption fee schedule will be as follows: Adult over 1 year: $250 (with initial vaccine) Adult over 1 year: $325 (with second/booster vaccine) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $275 (with initial vaccine) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $350 (with booster vaccine) Seniors ( 10+years) & special needs $200 Special breeds starting at $250 - a $75 additional fee may be applied for special breed who have had a booster administered prior to adoption Total fees will be confirmed by the AVA adoption coordinator Think you found your new best friend?
