Briar (FCID# 02/04/2025 - 1 Brookhaven foster)'s Story
FCID#02/04/2025-1Meet adorable love bug Briar! Briar is a social, outgoing girl who is friendly with people and cats, both new and familiar friends. This confident kitty just loves pets and snuggles. She kept me company the entire time I was visiting her room.
Look at her unusual coloring. Briar has beautiful tabby stripes, highlighted by patches of brown and orange, and a white chin. Briar is a unique feline supermodel! Please check out her video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/N3Gz1btqXmE .
Here is Briar's backstory:
Sweet Briar is a gentle calico with a tabby pattern (tabico) and a heart full of hope and a story to tell. She was found wandering the streets almost in Philadelphia meowing, and searching for food. Before she trusted us enough to come close, Briar would quietly observe from the grass—watching us with curious eyes and a soft presence.
When we scanned her, we found a microchip, we were hopeful we would get her home—but sadly, her previous people didn’t want her back since she had been gone for two months. So we made a promise: “We’ve got you now, Briar. You’re safe, and we’ll find you the loving home you deserve.”
Briar is affectionate, talkative, and resilient. Her meows are now full of hope instead of worry, and she’s learning every day what it means to be loved and cared for. She’s ready for a forever home where she’ll never be left behind again.
Briar was now playing with her new foster family. Please ask about her!
Would loving and gentle Briar be a wonderful addition to your family? Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Carolyn M.)
