Briar's Story

Meet Briar & Blossom!

These sweet tabby sisters have traded outdoor colony life for cozy blankets, reliable meals, toys, cuddles, and all the comforts of indoor living — and they are very happy with the upgrade.

While they share the same beginnings, each girl brings her own little personality to the mix.

BRIAR — The Adventurer

Briar is curious, cheerful, and always ready to investigate what's happening around her. She loves exploring every nook and cranny, checking out new things, and turning just about anything into an adventure.

She's confident, playful, and social, but underneath that bold little exterior is a genuinely sweet and affectionate girl who enjoys attention and being part of the action.

Briar also does wonderfully with other cats and is completely unbothered by the cat-friendly dogs in her foster home.

BLOSSOM — The Sweet Little Sidekick

Blossom is a wide-eyed, cute-as-a-button girl with a sweet, chipper personality.

She loves playing with Briar and brings a happy little energy wherever she goes. Blossom can be a touch more cautious when something is new, but give her a little time to check things out and feel safe, and she settles in beautifully.

She gets along wonderfully with other cats and does well with cat-friendly dogs after a brief introduction.

Together, these girls are:

Cat friendly

Dog friendly

Sweet & playful

Curious and adaptable

Happily converted indoor kitties

Neither girl has spent much time around children yet, but both are young, social, and adaptable, so we think they have good potential with respectful kids and proper introductions.

Briar and Blossom began life in a large outdoor colony, but those days are behind them now. They've discovered just how good indoor life can be, and they're preparing for their next big adventure — finding families of their own.

Whether you fall for Briar's adventurous spirit, Blossom's sweet charm, or both sisters together, these two little tabbies are ready to bring a whole lot of sunshine into their forever homes.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
