Briar’s Story<br/><br/>Briar entered our care as a stray and, despite our best efforts, was never reclaimed. He was severely matted on arrival, which led to his now-iconic skullet haircut — a look he wears proudly while he starts his new chapter!<br/><br/>This 3–5 year old sweetheart is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and litter box trained. Because he digs with enthusiasm, a large, high-sided litter box is a must.<br/><br/>Briar prefers being the only pet in a quiet adult home where he can relax, explore, and bond with people at his own pace. He’s affectionate, talkative, and has plenty of tales from his time on the streets. If you’re looking for a friendly companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Briar might be your guy.

Bisbee Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We ask that you meet the animal in person to help ensure that it's a good match for both of you.  You will need to fill out an application, with at least 3 personal references and a vet reference.  We usually approve or deny the adoption within 24 to 48 hours. Our adoptions are not first come first served, but are based on what is the best fit for the animal and potential pet parent. We may receive multiple applications for the same animal. The adoption fee for cats and kittens is $60 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for dogs is $75 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for puppies is $100 which also includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration.
