Brewer's Story

Brewer is a pint-sized floof with a tiny meow, an even tinier purr.

This fuzzy little tabby was found all alone under a car in Whitefish Bay. Not exactly the ideal accommodations for a baby with such luxurious hair. Thankfully, Brewer quickly took to comforts of indoor living, and she's quickly discovering that this arrangement has some serious perks.

Brewer is an exceptionally sweet, gentle girl with a coat that's ridiculously soft. She loves being held, has the most delicate little meow, and rewards affection with a low, contented purr. She's developing a fondness for toys she can carry around in her mouth, particularly mice and soft wool or sparkle balls.

Having only recently discovered indoor life, Brewer can be a bit timid at first. She's still figuring out whether humans are trustworthy or possibly planning to eat her. So far, the evidence is looking pretty good! Being scooped up and cuddled seems to make her feel safe, and she's growing more comfortable with her new surroundings every day.

One thing Brewer has already figured out? Other cats are great. She adores her foster family's resident cat and looks to him for comfort and reassurance. She'll need a friendly feline companion in her forever home to continue showing her the ropes, preferably one who can explain things like vacuum cleaners and why humans insist on kissing kittens on the forehead.

Brewer is a sweetheart who could thrive in a variety of homes, including one with children. All she needs is a little patience, plenty of love, and a feline friend to help her navigate this strange new world.

Apply to adopt Brewer! She's ready for a lifetime of cuddles, companionship, and being told how ridiculously cute she is.

DOB: 8/21/26

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. Urban Cat Coalition's Adoption Policy
Adoption Process We are a best match rescue. Our goal is to match the individual pet to where we feel they would be most successful. It is not necessarily first-come, first-served for approved applications. After selecting a cat or kitten you are interested, or if you intend to adopt a cat chosen by our match makers, an application is filled out. Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/UCC/Cat The Urban Cat Coalition adoption team will perform background checks, veterinarian reference checks and landlord checks. Once the application review process is complete, you will be contacted by one of our match makers and then you will be put in touch with the foster home to arrange a meet and greet (virtual or in-person) with the kitty you want to adopt. Once you have met the kitty, you and the foster home will decide if it is a good fit. After this step, we have a 24 hour hold to allow you time to be sure adopting is the right decision. The foster family will stay in touch, and they will arrange the final adoption, provide a contract to sign and they will give you the physical copies of the cats medical records. Once they return the contract to our admin, we will email you digital copies of all medical records and register the microchip to you. Please note applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for adopting a cat from Urban Cat Coalition. Adoption fees: • Kittens (Under 7 months) $165 or $305 for two kittens. • Adults (7 months and over) $85 Services included in the adoption fees: - FVRCP Vaccines (appropriate for age of kitten/cat) - Rabies Booster if over 5 months old (Good for 1 year from date given) - Preventative Dewormer - Checked for fleas and ticks - Spay/Neuter - Microchip with lifetime membership
