Meet Brave
Our little Brave started out as a friendly stray cat at our facility. Before we trapped him, he incurred a horrible injury that broke his left front paw backwards so badly his leg bones were sticking out of his skin! He was trapped the night before Thanksgiving and rushed to an all night vet hospital. In short, he had to have his entire leg amputated due to severe infection. This was done the Friday after Thanksgiving. We named him Brave for being so courageous in his battle to survive outside with that terrible injury.
He has been a model patient! Brave has totally healed now and loves playing with his buddies here at the sanctuary. He can run, jump, climb stairs, and razzle with his cohorts just like a 4 legged cat. Brave is a wonderful animal and SUCH a loveable little guy! He's about 1 -1/2 to 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is looking for a 2 legged companion. By the way, he gives GREAT hugs!!
