Brandi's Story

Meet Brandi - a sweet, determined little girl with an irresistible spirit and a wonderfully unique way of making her way through the world.

Brandi is a 1-year-old spayed female domestic shorthair with a neurological condition that affects her balance and coordination. A veterinary neurologist has evaluated her and though there isn't a definitive diagnosis, her condition appears to be congenital and non-progressive.

Brandi may be a little wobbly on her feet, but don't tell her that! Her back end sways when she walks, and her enthusiasm carries her a little faster than her balance can keep up. She will tumble, regroup, and then continue right on with whatever important cat business she had planned. Her legs are strong, her determination is even stronger, and she refuses to let a few falls keep her from enjoying life.

What makes Brandi special isn't simply the way she moves - it's the spirit she brings with her. She is curious, resilient, full of personality, and eager to be part of everything going on around her. She doesn't see herself as different. She's simply Brandi, doing things her own way and making it work.

Brandi needs to live with a kitten or very young cat as a companion. A playful, feline friend would give her someone to interact with, learn from, and enjoy life alongside. She has plenty of determination, and having a young buddy to share her adventures with would be a wonderful fit for her.

Brandi is looking for someone who will see past her wobbles and fall in love with the wonderful cat underneath. She'll need a safe, thoughtful home where she can explore comfortably and continue building her confidence, along with a person who understands that sometimes the very best companions are the ones who take a slightly different path through life.
If you're looking for a cat with heart, determination, and a personality all her own, Brandi is your girl.

https://tenthlifecats.org/adopt/
