BoxBox's Story

BOXBOX - the radio command from the crew to the racer to make a pit stop in Formula 1 racing. Well, HSHP is your pit crew, radioing you to take a look at the cute BoxBox!

BoxBox is a 1 year old neutered male Domestic Short Hair cat. BoxBox came to us alongside his brother, McLaren (who has his since been adopted) through no fault of their own. Their owners unexpectedly had a life change and could not keep their pets. While it was not an easy decision for them to make, they brought the pair to us to try to find their forever homes.

This change was sudden not only for their owner, but for BoxBox as well. BoxBox had lived with his previous owners since he was a kitten, and it took some time for him to adjust to being in the shelter. Finally, he is coming out of his shell, and seems to be comfortable in the hustle-and-bustle. Even when he was feeling shy, he was never aggressive with us, and stayed sweet through the whole scary experience. Now that he's gotten to know us, he is a loving and playful guy, and quickly makes you fall in love!

In his previous home BoxBox was around multiple other cats and did well with them all. We have not seen how he does around dogs or kids, though. Due to this, we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any canines or children in the home prior to adopting BoxBox.

Even though BoxBox has recently met some heartbreak, it just means he's ready for someone to mend that wound! If you think you're the right fit for BoxBox, and you're willing to open up your home to this boy, then stop by and meet him today!
