Hi! My name is Bowlingball and here is a bit more about me :<br/><br/>My Journey<br/>I was rescued from the streets of Tijuana by a kind woman who made sure I got the help I needed through Smittens. I had some dental issues when I arrived, including stomatitis, but after a full mouth extraction I’m feeling fantastic—comfortable, pain-free, and happier than ever. I was also diagnosed as FeLV+, and with proper care and lots of love, I’m thriving and ready to find my forever home.<br/><br/>My Social Life<br/>People are my absolute favorite. I adore human companionship and want to be as close to you as possible at all times. <br/>Other cats ? I get along well with other cats, but because I’m FeLV+, I’ll need to be either your one-and-only or live with another FeLV+ kitty. <br/>Dogs ? I haven’t shared much about dogs yet, but my calm, easygoing nature suggests I’d do best in a peaceful, predictable environment.<br/><br/>My Personality<br/>Affectionate, easygoing, and devoted.<br/>I’m a true "velcro cat"—once I start cuddling, I don’t stop. I’m a mellow, middle-aged gentleman with a big heart, a loud purr, and a talent for making sure no one ever feels lonely. I do best in a relaxed environment where routines are gentle and affection is plentiful.<br/><br/>What Makes Me Special<br/>I’m the ultimate cuddle companion—affectionate to my core and happiest when wrapped up in love. I’ve been through a lot and come out the other side sweeter than ever, with a deep appreciation for comfort, care, and connection.<br/><br/>My Perfect Home<br/>I’d thrive in a loving home where I can soak up attention and enjoy a calm, stress-free lifestyle. Whether as a cherished only cat or with another FeLV+ feline friend, I’m ready to be someone’s loyal, snuggly shadow.<br/><br/>My Special Needs / Health Info<br/>I’m FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which means I’ll need to be an only cat or live with another FeLV+ cat. FeLV is contagious only to other cats—not people or other animals. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups, a good diet, and a low-stress environment to help me stay healthy.<br/>Some FeLV+ cats live just a few years, while others live a normal lifespan—I’m currently feeling great and enjoying life to the fullest. My past stomatitis has been fully resolved with dental surgery, and I’m now healthy, comfortable, and eating just fine.
