Bow's Story

Four-year-old Bow is the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and playful. Her favorite activity is curling up next to her foster mom in bed after work. She loves burrowing under the covers and settling in for a nap! Bow also enjoys play kicking her catnip banana and chasing around her favorite ball toy. When she's having a lot of fun, she will even chirp and meow at her toy. Bow would love to find adopters who will give her a little extra time, patience, and love to settle in. She previously lived with cats and may do well with a laid back feline sibling or as an only cat. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

We ask all potential adopters to complete an adoption application. A veterinary reference and proof of home ownership OR landlords approval is required. After everything rescue cats have been through, our top priority is placing them into the best matched forever homes. We treat each cat as an individual and assess potential adopters based on that cat’s needs.
