Oh hey tri-state area! So I kind don't know how I ended up here. I'm just a one-year old girl from Egypt who was saved from a life of suffering in the street and ended up with a kind rescuer who had more than 100 cats in her home. I thought that was it for me, and I liked it and accepted it.<br/><br/>Then, at the end of August 2023, at the last minute, they put me in a carrier and rushed me to the airport to join a huge trip with a bunch of other kitties who were coming to the US for a better life. I wasn't supposed to be on that trip. But someone backed out while everyone was at the airport, and the airline people said the whole flight will be canceled if they can't fill the empty spot. I was already ready with my medical papers and such, so they ran home and got me. I saved the flight, and here I am!<br/><br/>Where I am right now is pretty lonely. I'm in a small room with two other kitties who were from my same home in Egypt. We have music playing and they feed us and try to play with us for a few minutes every day, but it's kind of depressing. I'm grateful I made it here but I know there's a better life for me somewhere out there. <br/><br/>I'm so, so sweet and vocal. I chirp a lot when I want attention. I love to be pet and held. And I really like my food! <br/><br/>I know that black and white and tuxedo cats don't get a lot of adoption interest.
