Boronia's Story

Hi! My name is Boronia and here is a little more about me :

My Journey
I was brought into the FCC community cat program earlier this week along with two of my five kittens. The following day, my three remaining kittens joined us so we could all be safe and together again. My babies are about 8–10 weeks old, and I was still nursing them when we arrived. I’ve clearly been a very devoted mama, and now I’m getting the care and support I deserve too.

My Social Life
Because I’ve only been in foster care for a short time, my foster is still getting to know me. So far, I’ve shown myself to be very people-oriented and comfortable with gentle human interaction. As we continue to learn more about me, my preferences with other pets and children will become clearer.

My Personality
I’m a sweet, purry girl with an adorable, hopeful expression that seems to say, "Pet me... please?" I enjoy affection and respond quickly to gentle attention. While I’m still settling in and decompressing from caring for my kittens, my calm, loving nature is already shining through.

I Enjoy...
Gentle pets and affection
Quiet moments with humans
Being spoken to softly and reassured
Relaxing while I recover from motherhood
As I continue to adjust, I’ll likely discover even more favorite things to enjoy.

I’m Not a Fan Of...
I’m still adjusting to a brand-new environment, so sudden changes, loud noises, or being rushed may feel overwhelming at first. Patience and a calm presence help me feel safe.

What Makes Me Special
I’m a beautiful calico mama with a tender, nurturing spirit. My expressive face and constant purrs make it clear how much I enjoy human connection, and my devotion to my kittens speaks volumes about my gentle, loving heart.

My Perfect Home
I would thrive in a peaceful, patient home where I can continue to decompress from motherhood and settle into life focused on me for a change. A family who understands that I’m still getting to know myself outside of being a mom—and is happy to let my personality unfold naturally—will be rewarded with a very affectionate, loving companion.
