Bora and Zephyr's Story

Bora and Zephyr were rescued from a construction site in Brooklyn over the Summer as kittens. They are bonded and I would love to find them a home together for the holidays. Bora, the tortie with the white chest, is more reserved than her brother, but she will do anything for a treat. She loves to climb, is very brave, and spends most of her time either snuggled up with her brother Zephyr or playing. Zephyr, the tuxedo, is becoming more and more affectionate each day. He loves full body pets and cheek rubs and will curl up next to me even without a treat in sight! They both LOVE other cats and are respectful of their elders (my resident cats). They are fully vetted, negative for FIV and FeLV and I would love to find them a home for the holidays. Please fill out the application if you’d like to meet them.

Bookstore Cats's Adoption Policy

Filling out an adoption application is the first part of the process. Once the application is reviewed, I will check references and contact the applicant to set up a video interview. During the video the adopter will give me a tour of their living space, so that I can check for solid screens on all of the windows and any potential hazards to the cat. If approved, we will set up a time for them to meet the cat, either by video chat first or in person.
