Boots is a dashing tuxedo cat, always dressed to impress with his sleek black-and-white coat and adorable little white "boots." <br/><br/>Super playful and curious. When he isn’t chasing toys or wrestling with his sister, Meow, or foster brother, Pax, Boots loves lounging in his hammock or soaking up sunbeams from the window perch. He’s also a tidy guy who really appreciates a freshly scooped (and lidded!) litter box—he takes covering up very seriously.<br/><br/>Boots’ journey started in a backyard, where he and his four siblings were discovered after his foster mom heard tiny cries—Boots had accidentally fallen into a pool of murky water. Thankfully, she acted quickly, scooped him up, and brought the whole litter to safety. They were about 10 weeks old at the time, and since then, their foster family has worked lovingly to help them grow confident and social.<br/><br/>Boots is a healthy, happy kitty with a playful heart. He’s still shy with new people and not yet comfortable with petting outside of treat time, or an occasional drive by pet, but he's making steady progress. With patience and a peaceful environment, he continues to come out of his shell more every day.<br/><br/>Boots is looking for a quiet, cat-savvy home where they can continue to blossom. Treats help build trust (which he loves), but just as important are gentle patience, playful moments, and a calm, loving presence.
