Boots's Story
Boots is a charming tabby with adorable white feet that look just like tiny booties—hence the name!

Boots is a shy, gentle boy with a very sweet heart. He may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he knows you're safe, he'll come when called and accept gentle pets. He's not a pushy cat at all: just a soft, thoughtful boy who is quietly learning that people can be kind.

One of Boots' most adorable habits is his constant little winks. He blinks and squints so much that getting a photo of him with both eyes open can be a real challenge! It gives him the sweetest, grateful expression, like he's saying “thank you” in his own quiet way.

But bring out a wand toy, and Boots' playful side comes alive. He especially loves toys with a long "bait", and once he catches one, good luck getting it back! Boots will proudly grab his prize and try to walk away with it, even if you're still holding the other end. Around here, he's earned the nickname “The Thief” for his hilarious habit of catching his toy and refusing to let go.

Boots also prefers to stay out of conflict with other cats. He's a peaceful boy who would do best in a calm indoor home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. With patience, gentle attention, and plenty of wand-toy playtime, Boots is sure to steal your heart, and probably a few toys, too.

All cats adopted through To The ResQ have been examined by a vet, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped with free transfer registration, combo-tested, and dewormed.

If you have any questions about Boots, please contact us at ttr.adopt@gmail.com.
