Boots - ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story

Meet Boots, a sweet patch tabby with awesome white mitts ("boots"), stunning gold eyes and amazing whiskers along with and her mother, Mama Boots, were trapped by a volunteer, vetted, and socialized. They then made their way to Second Chance. Mama Boots has ben adopted and now it's darling Boots turn.

Boots is a bit shy, but very open to receiving pets and leaning in for more asking for belly rubs. Boots is interested in play and treats which is a great way to build her confidence, especially with wand toys. Boots is absolutely gorgeous with her patch tabby markings and she is incredibly soft. She would love a window to look out of as she is quietly curious and inquisitive. Boots loves wet food and when she is really hungry she has the cutest little meow chirps!

We believe given a home of her own, Boots will explore and be so happy to have space to roam, being able to jump on a bed or couch. She will thrive given attention and space. Boots was adopted for a couple of months but her adopter returned her because the adopter didn't realize what it meant to own a cat. While she loved Boots she couldn't adjust to normal cat behaviors. If you are looking for a low maintenance kitty, with a calm presence, and a soft beauty both physically personality wise, Boots is your girl.

Our Boots is made for walking and that's just what she'll do...lovingly walk all over your heart! Boots would do best in a quieter, routine home likely with a single adopter or a couple. Boots does well with other friendly cats not looking for a playmate so she could be part of a multi-cat household.

Boots has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Boots has an approximate birthdate of 05-01-2024. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Boots or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
