Boots's Story

Boots is a cute senior tuxedo domestic short hair female. This lady is 12 years young and sports a gleaming black and white coat and a little diminutive white mustache. She is a sweet and friendly kitty who can occasionally be a bit opinionated if she's had enough stimulation. Boots came to PFC after her previous owner passed away and the person who took over her care discovered she was allergic to cats. Boots is quite healthy, but blood tests show she has early stage kidney disease. This is easily treated with a special diet. Boots would like to be an only cat in a quiet adult household. She is available for either adoption or a long term local foster situation. If fostered, the foster provides a loving home for the life of the cat and PFC covers the prescription food and veterinary care. In return the foster gains an affectionate kitty companion and is giving Boots a second chance at a loving "fur-ever" home..

To meet Boots at PFC you must have an application on file with us and been pre-approved to adopt a cat. Our adoption hours are intended for pre-approved adopters. An application for pre-approval to adopt can be picked up at the shelter during adoption hours or sent by email to be filled out and brought in. Once you have been pre-approved, you are welcome to come to the shelter during adoption hours to be shown the cats.
