Boone's Story

Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If interested, please email a request for a pre-adopt application to inquiries@dunroaminstrayandrescue.com

Boone was returned to us on December 22, 2017, from Woodstock where his family was unable to undertake his care due to personal reasons. Boone is a very nice boy who was born about October 21, 2013 and has been waiting for that perfect home since he came to us on April 21, 2015.

Due to the fact that his body does not process some food well and tends to develop crystals in his urine, he must eat a diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food only. We have had dozens of cats on this diet and have had no recurrence of problems once they are placed on this diet.

Boone is an extremely affectionate cat. He loves to be with people and will follow them around from room to room to ensure he always has people to whom he can express his love of life! While on his prescription diet he has experienced absolutely no problems whatsoever! Thanks, Royal Canin, for your S/O food! We hope for a family for Boone - he really would love to know the security and love of a permanent home. Please come meet him.
