Meet Sweet Pea & Boomer — the sweetest, most resilient dynamic duo! <br/>Sweet Pea and Boomer are an adorable pair who absolutely love and adore each other. Despite having very different personalities, they are completely inseparable — and after everything they’ve been through together, their bond is truly something special. <br/>In May, Sweet Pea and Boomer survived a devastating house fire. Their survival was nothing short of miraculous. These two little fighters are incredibly resilient, and after an unimaginable experience, they have made an amazing recovery. They are fully recovered from the fire and are doing wonderfully today. Their strength and determination are truly inspiring. <br/> Boomer is a very special little man with CH (cerebellar hypoplasia, sometimes called “wobbly kitten syndrome”). But don’t let his wobble fool you — Boomer is one determined little guy! He loves being independent and figuring things out on his own. Sometimes he just needs a little help, like boosters around the house, to make navigating his world easier.<br/>Boomer enjoys playing, but he’s definitely the quieter and more laid-back half of this pair. He tends to keep to himself a bit more and can often be found peacefully napping.<br/> Sweet Pea is our wild child! She may be large and in charge, but she has UNLIMITED energy. She loves to run, play, chase wand toys, and keep herself entertained. She would thrive in a home with plenty of space to zoom around and lots of interactive toys to keep her busy.<br/>And when Sweet Pea finally decides it’s time to settle down? She’ll seek out Boomer wherever he’s napping and join him. That’s their special bond.<br/>Boomer also has some ongoing health challenges related to a smaller-sized lung and currently needs medication about once a month when he experiences flare-ups. We are continuing to work closely with his veterinary team to determine the best long-term medical plan for him.<br/>Because we are still finalizing that plan, Sweet Pea and Boomer are currently staying as fosters with the intention of adopting them once Boomer’s long-term medical plan is finalized. <br/>In the meantime, that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve ALL the love, playtime, cuddles, and adventures they can possibly get!<br/> These two would love a foster-to-adopt family who is willing to welcome them both into their home and hearts.They may be different in size, energy level, and personality, but one thing is certain: they belong together.<br/>They survived the unimaginable. They fought their way back. And now they’re ready for the next chapter — one filled with safety, love, playtime, cozy naps, and a family of their own. <br/>Two incredible survivors. One unbreakable bond. A lifetime of love.<br/> Sweet Pea & Boomer are ready to be loved forever.
