BOOKMARK's Story

MEET BOOKMARK! I am looking for: * Cat-savvy, patient adopter, comfortable with a hands-off relationship until trust is developped. * Adult-only home willing to work to gain trust. Bookmark is a former community cat who was showing some friendly behavior, rubbing on the legs of his feeders. His background is a mystery so it is understandable that he is taking some time to adjust to indoor life. Bookmark loves food, is warming up to play time and rolls around in catnip which is pretty adorable to watch. Bookmark is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Bookmark or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
