Meet Boogzie, a gorgeous one-year-old brown tabby who is officially hanging up her "mom" hat and looking for a fun-loving family of her own! After successfully raising three kittens, this sweet girl is more than ready to get back to being a playful, carefree youngster herself. Boogzie is the definition of affectionate; she absolutely loves to be doted on and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you can offer. Don't be surprised if she starts off with a little sass when meeting other cats--she's been known to give a hiss or a growl at first, but don't let that fool you! She typically gets over the initial introductions quickly once she realizes everyone is a friend. If you have a resident cat, she'll just need a little grace to settle in. She is also open to sharing her space with a calm, cat-friendly dog, provided they are introduced slowly and she has plenty of time to warm up at her own pace. Since Boogzie is rediscovering her own playful side, she'd thrive in a home with people who have time to engage her with toys and plenty of lap time. She is hesitant and unsure of young kiddos, so we recommend a home with gentle children aged 8 and up.
