Boo was found sick and alone in Ellendale and so came to us to get better, get vetted and find a new home. Born September 2025, Boo is a sweet, fun-loving fella full of playful energy and youthful enthusiasm. He enjoys playing with his roommate and talking to anyone who happens by. Boo would love to find a home where he (and a feline friend) could live happy ever after and he would be so excited if that could happen soon enough for him to be Home for the Holidays.<br/><br/>All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org<br/><br/>When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.<br/><br/>Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.<br/><br/>If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes.
