Boo's Story

I’m a 12-year-old lady who has spent my whole life with the same person. Sadly, my owner passed away, and suddenly everything I’ve ever known has changed.
As you can imagine, this new chapter is a little scary for me. I’m shy when I first meet people and may find a cozy hiding spot when I’m feeling unsure. I can be afraid of new faces, but once I’ve had time to learn that you’re safe, I start letting my sweet side show. ❤ï ̧
One of my favorite things is being brushed—it’s a wonderful way to help me relax and build trust with you.
I’ve never lived with other animals, so we don’t really know how I would feel about sharing my home. What I do know is that I’d love a quiet, patient home where I can settle in at my own pace without being rushed.
I’ve lost the only home and person I’ve ever known. Now I’m hoping someone special will give this senior girl the chance to feel safe and loved again.
Could you be my second chance?

I am part of the Take A Chance On Me program, which means my adoption fee is lowered to help me find the right match.
If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.

Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
