Boo's Story

Hello! My name is Boo. I’d love to tell you a little about myself! I was born outside in the parking lot of a hotel near a storage area. My parents were feral, but some kind humans found me and made it their mission to nurse me back to health and show me what love feels like. I was very skinny and small—honestly, I still am! But what I lack in size, I make up for with a big personality. As my foster mom types this biography, I’m right here "helping" by sitting in front of her laptop. I like to be in the middle of the action! That’s actually how I got my name—Boo! I might be little, but I love to pop up out of nowhere to play, say hello, or trade a soft meow for a few pets. I’ve fully adjusted to indoor life and couldn’t be happier. I love all kinds of toys—scratchers, wand toys, lasers, balls, anything that moves or lights up! Feeding time is my favorite time of day, and I’ll never say no to a Churu or Bonkers treat. I’m litter box trained, social, and friendly with both people and other cats. My foster mom says I’m a "happy-go-lucky" kind of girl, and I think that’s true! I’m so grateful to have been rescued and raised in a loving foster home, but now I’m ready for my forever family. I know my future is bright, and I can’t wait to see what adventures come next. Could they be with you?

How to adopt at FAR:  Currently under Covid 19 protocols You can view our pets online and make an appointment to meet them. Get to know our pets. Enjoy our meet and greet room where you can spend individual time to play, pet or just sit with them. Converse with our adoption counselors about our pets, our adoption process and what to expect during the first few days.  Some of our pets may need a family or dog introduction before able to adopt based on specific observations made at the sheer environment.
