Bonnie's Story

Bonnie is a sweet kitty who loves hard, plays hard. Even though she’s a little on the shy side, she loves being part of the pack. Bonnie has the cutest markings, making her appear like she has a goatee or soul patch. We’re getting strong 90s vibes! And then there’s the two black dots on her nose that are slowing merging to form a mustache. Maybe she has a secret life as a jazz musician that we don’t know about?? Bonnie loves other cats and having kitty friends helps her to feel safe. From time to time she will sit in your lap and she loves her foster family’s fish tank. She is the designated fish “helper” each morning, hoping to get some fish flakes for a tasty snack! You’ll often find Bonnie playing with toys on her own or playing chase with the other cats. If she really wants your attention, she lets out a tiny high pitched meow but otherwise she’s a very quiet kitty. Bonnie would do best a mellow, calm home and she would be great friends with kids who know how to respect her boundaries and are willing to play with her between kisses. She is playful, gentle, and sweet with a face that always looks startled due to her markings. -Think Kevin from Home Alone or Edvard Munch’s The Scream, which we find endlessly amusing and adorable. AHHHH! If this sounds like a match for you, skee bop de bop your way over to our website (details below!) and one of our volunteers will get back to you.

To start the adoption process, an application must be completed and approved. You will find our full adoption process and the application at www.aarflove.org.

We also have kitty adoption events most Saturdays from 12-3pm, where you can meet and interact with some of our available kitties. See our website for more information.

All Animal Rescue & Friends (AARF)'s Adoption Policy
All of our pets are spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, dewormed, deflead and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our cats are Felv/Fiv tested as well. Our adoption amounts: DOGS 6 months and older ~ $400 PUPPIES younger than 6 months ~ $500. CATS and KITTENS 6 months older ~ $150. KITTENS younger than 6 months ~ $200. If you find a pet you would like to meet, please visit our website at www.aarflove.org to submit an application. We do not do actual adoptions at our events; the events are for applicants to meet our adoptable animals and for us to meet potential adopters. It's important to submit an application to be considered for adoption. Our animals are also not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal. All of our animals are in private foster homes so attending one of our events or by meet and greets, is the best way to get to know our adoptable pets.
