BONGO's Story

Meet Bongo — Your Gentle, Soft‑Spoken Bengal Boy

Bongo is a stunning 1‑year‑old brown‑spotted Bengal with a heart every bit as beautiful as his coat. Unlike many Bengals, he has a sweet, quiet demeanor and the softest little meow—more of a polite whisper than a demand for attention. He’s a sensitive soul who blossoms in calm, predictable environments and would do best in a quieter home without young children.

He’s currently fostered in Mount Pleasant, WI, where he’s showing just how loving and gentle he can be once he feels safe. Bongo does well with easygoing cats and can coexist with respectful, calm dogs who understand boundaries. He has his claws, is fully vetted (rabies, distemper), and is neutered, so he’s ready for his forever family.

Bongo is the perfect match for someone who appreciates a softer, more reserved Bengal—one who will bond deeply, quietly, and loyally. If you’re looking for a companion with beauty, sweetness, and a gentle spirit, Bongo is waiting to meet you.

ADOPTION FEE $400. FOSTERED IN MOUNT PLEASANT, WI.

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
