Bones's Story
One of our volunteers was eating outside at a local restaurant when Bones walked up to their table. He was extremely sweet and took food from them. The restaurant said he'd been hanging around a bit and is a nice cat, but they couldn't catch him. We knew this guy wasn't destined to live the feral life because he wasn't scared of people, so they set a trap and he was brought to WARM.

Bones was fully vetted and neutered on 11/4/25 and is FIV/FeLV negative. He is estimated to be 6-8 months old.

Bones is a shy and nervous cat at first. He's not your typical confident cat, he will need time to adjust to a new environment so it will be best to have him confined to his own bedroom or bathroom for the first week at least. Once our cats are fully vetted we like to put them in the cat room so that they have a larger space to live and can socialize with the other cats. As many times as we've tried, Bones isn't having it. We think it may be PTSD from his life outdoors, since our cat room is partially outside. However, he does extremely well with another confident but friendly cat. He looks to them for guidance. So we'd love Bones to go to a home where he can have his own emotional support cat so that they can help bring him out of his shell. He is hesitant with dogs, doesn't hiss and freak out, just keeps his distance from them. Again, he will need a home that understands how a nervous cat needs time to adjust to change.

If you'd like to meet Bones, send us a message! All of our adoptees require a background check and home visit to be completed before any adoption is approved.
