Bones's Story

Bones is a walking miracle!! Found alone on Amsterdam Ave, unable to walk and in a puddle of her own blood, she has been nursed back to full health! She had to have her back right leg amputated and her front left elbow repaired with orthopedic surgery. Both procedures went perfectly.<br/><br/>She is now a tripod Queen! She has an occasional limp in her front left leg, but no part of her is limited in mobility. She loves to use scratching posts, and jump on beds. She is extremely playful and also talkative with the most adorable chirps! She has a great appetite and a hilarious demeanor. Bones is a truly unbelievable cat in so many ways. She is an alpha cat and does not do well with other kitties because she bullies them! But she is wonderful with humans.<br/><br/>If you have been looking for a special tripod with a lot of personality- she is the one for you!

Big Apple Cats's Adoption Policy

Adoption process is as follows: 1- Please fill out pre-adoption application 2- Kelly our director will contact you to talk about the application and then will call references. Once an application is received we can also set up a meeting in the foster home. 3- virtual or in person home visit to make sure residence is safe for cats. 4- Adoption fee of $150 per cat/kitten along with signing adoption forms.
