Bon Bon's Story

In French, the word bon means good, and the dazzling Bon Bon is clearly twice as nice. This exquisite lady knows she will be tres bon for you.

The lovely BB is an internationally known confectionary artist, and is considered to be the inspiration for the film Chocolat. Although she declines to discuss it, rumors abound that Johnny Depp has sworn his undying love for the culinary queen.

Due to her imaginative and delectable designs, BB’s French candy shop was an instant success and enjoyed a client list that included the world’s richest and most famous. When she was only 8 years old she was able to retire, and settled happily in the fertile Sacramento valley of Northern California.

Okay, so that isn’t necessarily true.

This gorgeous Ragdoll/Himalayan mix was on the list to be euthanized at an area shelter. This time of year there are many kittens looking for homes, and people tend to ignore cats who are more experienced.

Luckily Bon Bon was rescued by the non-profit Cat about Town Society (C.A.T.S.) and she is ready to retire into a quiet and comfortable home.

She has incredibly soft and silky fur, and she loves to be petted and groomed. Bon Bon’s joy in life is making you happy – and who could ask for more than that? BB likes to stick her tongue out a lot, probably because doing so allows cats to taste and smell things better. (Sounds crazy, but it is true.). CATS also discovered after rescuing her from the pound that POOR BON BON IS ALSO DEAF. All she wants right now is a warm, loving home where she can relax and live out the rest of her golden years.

If you are interested in the gorgeous BB, you can meet her at the C.A.T.S. Adoption Center at Natomas Marketplace PetSmart on the weekends from 11am - 5pm. She doesn’t like the noise and business of the store, so she might seem a little depressed or anxious – but talk to her foster-mother to learn what a true sweetheart she is.

Adoption fee $60
