Bolt (bonded with Ophelia)'s Story

***Bolt and Ophelia are a bonded pair, and must continue their journey to their new home together.

Bolt is a sweet kitty who is a tiny bit timid. Not a big surprise as Ophelia is the undisputed boss and Bolt her deferential sidekick. It takes a while for him to become comfortable as he is easily unnerved by loud noises or fast motions. But once he is settled, Bolt loves to play with wand toys and toys that he can chase around.

His favourite spot to sleep is by your feet or in his own little bed. He shows his affection by rubbing his head against you and following you around like a faithful furry shadow. He loves head scratches and enjoys exploring new places. He is also quite onboard with games that involve searching for treats, as he is a big foodie and loves all kinds of food and treats. Bolt is a very sweet boy, just takes him some time to open up.

Ophelia and Bolt love to play fight, cuddle and groom one another. They are very sweet and love spending time with their humans. They would do best in a quieter home with someone who appreciates the interesting dynamics of a pair that is of an obvious display of dominant/submissive traits, and can give them lots of attention to fulfill both of their needs to be loved.

Would you like to make Bolt and Ophelia a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
