According to our vet and many others this is not a big deal for cats that live indoors and have good nutrition. Boheme came to us in perfect health despite living outside for her first year. She didn't have a cold. She has a very good immune system and we also do not think she is a risk at spreading this condition to another cat because it is transmitted through deep bites and she is extremely docile. She is with other fosters and we do not Believe she's a threat to them.
