Bogey

Meet Bogey!<br/><br/>We were contact by a local shelter that was having trouble adopting our Bogey. With kitten season their resources were stretched and they could no longer keep an elderly medical needs cat. When a foster home became available we were able to intake Bogey!<br/><br/>Bogey is a very sweet 14 year old boy. He has super soft fur and a cute meow. The shelter he came from told us some great things about him!<br/><br/>“Bogey's affectionate and laid-back personality has made him a beloved member of our community. Bogey is known for his loving nature and enjoys the company of both adults and children. His calm demeanour and friendly disposition make him a perfect participant in our education programs and birthday parties, where he brings smiles to everyone's faces.”<br/><br/>He has been in a foster home with other cats and was fine after proper introductions. He does seem scared by dogs. Bogey is hyperthyroid and gets a pill twice daily. He also has a consistently high heart rate, and bloodwork indicated that his heart muscle is stretched (his proBNP levels are high). We are continuing to monitor this and he’ll be going to our vet for a follow up appointment. <br/><br/>Bogey is available for adoption!
