When he was found and scanned for a microchip, the truth came out: his family had moved on without him.<br/><br/>Yet somehow, Bogart’s heart never hardened. He still greets every person with warmth and hope, pressing his soft paws around you in the sweetest hug, as if to say, “Thank you for seeing me.” He doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot to nap, a gentle hand to pet him, and someone to love.<br/><br/>Bogart adores and he gets along well with other cats. He would do best in a calm environment with older children who can appreciate his affectionate nature. Because he prefers a peaceful space, a home without dogs would be ideal. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.<br/><br/>PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match.
