Bobble's Story
Bobble — Brave Heart, Big Purrs, and a Journey from Oman

Hi, I’m Bobble.I may not be able to see the world—but I feel it deeply, and I love it even more.

My story began far from here, in Muscat, Oman. I showed up alone in a volunteer’s garden, tiny and very sick, with no mom or siblings in sight. I was fighting a bad flu, a severe eye infection, and malnutrition. Things were so dire that my chances didn’t look good—but one kind human believed in me when it mattered most. Because of that, I was given a chance to live.

To save my life, the vets made a hard but loving decision: my eyes were removed to stop the infection. And you know what? I survived. I grew strong. And I proved that blindness would never define what I could do—or who I could be.

Today, I’m a happy, playful, confident boy who traveled all the way from Oman to start fresh. I settled into my foster home right away, and once I learned where everything was, I made myself completely at home. Honestly? Most people forget I’m blind—I certainly do.

I’m full of energy and curiosity. Toys that make noise are my absolute favorite, and I love zooming around the house, exploring every nook and cranny. Sometimes I climb a little higher than I mean to and need help finding my way back down—but that just adds to my charm. I keep life interesting.

When playtime is over, I turn into the biggest cuddle bug. I love flopping right next to you, pressing myself against you, and purring as loudly as I possibly can. Laps are my happy place, and I’ll happily stay there for hours. I’m also your built-in shadow—if you move rooms without me, I’ll let you know I’m coming. I even weave gently around your legs while you walk, both to keep you company and help guide myself through new spaces.

I’m sweet, a little feisty, and very affectionate. I love pets, sometimes give gentle love nibbles, and enjoy playing with cats I trust. Because I can’t see, I can be protective of my space at times and do best with feline friends who are gentle, respectful, and kind. A calm or friendly playful cat who understands boundaries could be a wonderful companion for me.

I use my litter box perfectly, thrive indoors, and do best in a calm, loving home where I get lots of attention, reassurance, and patience while I settle in.

I’ve already come so far—from the brink of losing everything, to traveling across the world, to becoming a joyful, resilient little soul. Now all I need is my person. Someone who sees me not for what I’ve lost—but for everything I am.

If you’re looking for a cat who will love you fiercely, follow you everywhere, and remind you every day that miracles come in small, purring packages... I might just be your Bobble.

Follow me @sf_kitties on Instagram.

Please note:
- Bobble is a Special Needs cat.
- Indoor only

For more information or to apply for Bobble, please go to:
https://www.givemesheltersf.org/adoption/cat.php?id=12366

[id=12366;ts=1772294420;src=pf]
