It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


BOBA FETT and his 3 siblings (DRASH - FENNEC SHAND - MANDALORIAN) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms and kittens. They went to a foster. Then we were asked to help get them good homes. So they went with one of our fosters.


BOBA FETT is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. FYI: We named them after the show MANDALORIAN.


BOBA FETT is a rambunctious little guy. He likes toys, the cat tree and treats! You can pick him up and he will give you love. But the minute you set him down, he's gone to explore and run like crazy. BOBA FETT has become such a snuggle bug!! He wants love, to sit with you and will show you he really likes to be with humans. He also really loves to play!



BOBA FETT is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. He is about 16 months old. He is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. He has never been around children.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

SEPTEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 4 pm - 9 pm. Volunteers are only there in the evening for 3 hours. So please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.


The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS above need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done. Gas donations ALWAYS appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
