Boba's Story
For inquiries contact jean@staf.org. Information and application are at www.staf.org.
Treats? Did you say, "Treats?" If you answered yes to this question, our special girl Boba will be very interested to meet you. Boba currently resides in one of our large cat community rooms where she gets along just fine with her kittymates, but is still warming up to our volunteers.
She was rescued among others as a part of a TNR effort, so we were not surprised about her FIV positive status. As long as she gets along peacefully with other cats, there is no danger of spreading the virus to other cats in the home. In fact, Boba gravitates toward her roommates since she is learning that we humans provide her with all the amenities she needs and enjoys.
If you have the patience to let her warm up and come to you, she will sniff your hand then head butt your hand for more pets. As soon as she feels at ease, she will even give your hand a little lick to let you know she feels happy. Her favorite pastime is to lounge around in a high up place so she can scope out her surroundings, only to be more excited when canned food is being fed.
This little lady has been through a lot surviving on the streets before being brought to safety, so with some tender love and a calm atmosphere, we know she has more ways to let her charming personality surface to the top!
DOB: 01/2023
Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org.
All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or kittens! Please email Jean at jean@staf.org for more info. on adopting!
