Bob's Story
Looking for a handsome, intelligent companion with plenty of personality?

Meet Bob.

Bob is an approximately 3 year old male. DNA testing showed Bob to be approximately 49% Bengal, along with American Domestic, Norwegian Forest Cat and a touch of Munchkin! His breed mix is reflected in his intelligence, curiosity and love for staying busy, but Bob also has a wonderfully relaxed side.

We believe Bob was likely dumped before a kind-hearted Good Samaritan took him in and gave him a safe place to land. He is still learning what it means to be an indoor cat and he has done a wonderful job discovering all the fun things that come with having a home.

Bob is a smart curious boy who loves to explore— and he has never met a shelf he didn't want to climb! He is very athletic... although he doesn't always stick the landing! Bob enjoys being up high on his perch where he can keep an eye on everything happening around him. He loves bird watching, chasing feather toys, solving food puzzles and searching for hidden treats. His snuffle mat and ripple rug are among his favorite ways to stay entertained. While he's active and loves to stay engaged, he's equally content to relax nearby after playtime and isn't overly vocal—unless you're trying to convince him it's time for a nail trim.

Bob also has a very sweet side— when he's in the mood for affection, he will happily let you know. He enjoys pets and brushing and sometimes he'll roll around, show off his belly and even let you give it some attention. Of course, Bob does things on Bob's schedule—if it's mealtime, he is all business and playtime usually comes before cuddles!

Bob enjoys meeting new people, although he can be a little reserved at first. Snacks are a great way to win him over and once he feels comfortable, his personality really starts to shine. He isn't currently a lap cat but he loves being around his humans and continues to build trust every day.

Like many intelligent cats, Bob is great at communicating. He can become overstimulated at times, but he gives clear signals through his body language when he needs a break. An adopter who understands and respects those cues will find Bob to be a wonderful companion.

Bob has excellent house manners. He faithfully uses his litter box and doesn't scratch furniture or carpets.

Bob is FIV-positive, but don't let that discourage you. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, happy lives with proper nutrition and routine veterinary care.

Because of his personality and Bengal heritage, Bob is looking for an experienced cat owner—ideally someone familiar with Bengals or other intelligent, active breeds—who can provide the enrichment and engagement he enjoys. He would do best as the only cat in the home and has not been exposed to dogs or young children.

Bob is a unique cat with a big personality. He is looking for someone who will appreciate his intelligence, respect his boundaries and enjoy all the funny little things that make him Bob!

Bob is fully vetted— he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, triple tested, current on flea/tick medication, dewormed and microchipped.

If you are interested in learning more about Bob, please send us a message!
