BOB's Story

Happy Fall! The calendar might say we are in the "ber" months, but the temperatures are still warm! That means we are still struggling through kitten season. We desperately need to make room to get Moms, kittens and other cats in and fixed before the cold comes. Please consider adopting! And tell your friend to adopt too! We still have lots of kittens and some of our older cats have been here awhile, so there is a cat for everyone!! Remember,
adopting saves TWO cats lives! Adopting one cat will free up a cage so we can help another. Together we can make countless more cats & kittens lives better. Win! Win! The kitties thank you too!

This is Bob!
Bob is domestic short haired black mini panther, neutered male, up to date on his shots, around 2 years old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland Northwest Indiana.

Vvvelcome! Vvvould you like charming vampurrrr kitty to cuddle with? Vvvelll look no further you have found me! I've crossed oceans of alleys to find you! And I'm a dashing vampurrr kitty that just wants love! When I really like you, I'll show you my fangs!! Ah ah ah! was living outside trying to find food when a nice person started feeding me and trying to give me a warm place to stay, but other people didn't want me around. The nice person decided I needed help and got me to the shelter. The people at the shelter fed me and took care of me. And now, In back to my shiny black vampurrring self!
I'm vvveady for my forever home!! I might be a little shy at first and need a little extra time to get used to a new home. It won't be long though because I want LOVE! I hope that doesn't turn you away! I promise I'll be the best kitty if you just give me some time to purrrrr my way straight to your neck...uh, I mean heart. Please look into my eyes and you'll see... I'm a little older but I still love playing with toy mousies! Buttttt, I'm old enough to appreciate love and attention.
I can't get enough pets!
I can't wait until I get a home, but until then I'll be vvvaiting for the right person who will understand me. Until then I'll be "hanging" out with my other kitty friends at the shelter... Vvvaiting.

I beg of you, please come see me at the shelter. I have my own "room" there and we can vvvisit! I would love a home with another kitty (with the proper introduction). However, probably no dogs. Older kids might be okay as long as they are gentle.
I look forward with anticipation to making your acquaintance.

Please call 219-922-1766 and leave a message to meet our resident vampurrr of love, Bob! Trust us, he isn't scary! Also, please fill out an adoption application which can be found online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org or follow the link from our profile at Petfinder (scroll down to the bottom of the main page for the link)
*****************************************
Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. We are always here to help with any questions Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner or are willing to provide patience and good forever home.
Thank you!
