Meet Bob

Are you interested in a special needs cat? You should meet Bob. Bob’s birthdate is September 2, 2020. He is 10 pounds of lap cat. Bob is outgoing and seeks out human attention and affection. Since he has been at Home Fur Good for some time, he has become a volunteer and staff favorite.
Bob was found abandoned in a carrier back in February of 2023. Bob may have been abandoned because he has a condition called Manx Syndrome. Manx syndrome, is an array of problems involving the function of the hind legs, urinary bladder, and colon of a tailless cat. In affected cats, the spine and spinal cord are shortened because the last few vertebrae and spinal segments have not developed normally.
Bob needs a family that will love and accept him just the way he is, having experience in taking care of special needs would be a plus. All Home Fur Good cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated appropriate for their age, tested for FIV/FELV and vet checked. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix. Call 602-971-1334 to learn more and to schedule an appointment.
