Bob's Story

🐾 Meet Bob

Bob is a big, handsome, affectionate guy with an even bigger personality. Weighing in at about 14 pounds, Bob is a professional cuddle companion who loves being close to his people. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be part of your daily life, Bob is your guy.

Bob is at least 10 years old, but he certainly doesn’t act like it. He’s playful, curious, and so much fun to have around. He’s also quite talkative and loves to greet people and be involved in whatever is going on. Bob truly loves everyone he meets.

🩺 Medical Transparency

We believe in full transparency because we are not just looking for a home for Bob, we are looking for the right home.
• Bob previously had dental issues, which have been fully addressed.
• He does still have occasional flare-ups, but these are very manageable and controlled with medication when needed.
• Bob was diabetic when he came into rescue, but after dedicated care, his diabetes is now in remission. There are no insulin injections or daily testing required.

The only ongoing requirement to maintain his remission is diet consistency.

💙 Daily Care & Cost

Bob’s care routine is simple and predictable:
• Eats four cans of Fancy Feast pâté daily
• Takes Atopica every other day
• Gets one special treat packet per day
• Uses about one bucket of litter per month

Bob’s average ongoing care cost is approximately $205 per month.

We understand this is not in everyone’s budget, and that’s okay. We know there is someone out there who does have the budget for this kind of love, and who will find Bob to be absolutely worth it.

🏡 The Home We’re Looking For

Bob is a healthy, happy cat who is ready to spend his golden years in a loving, stable home. He is affectionate, social, and thrives on human connection. We are simply looking for the best place for Bob to live out his days, surrounded by care, consistency, and love.

If you’re looking for a cat who will sit with you, talk to you, and remind you every day that you’re his person, Bob would love to meet you.
