Meet BOA HANCOCK

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

BOA HANCOCK was saved by an independent rescuer back in 2020. Well fast forward to 8 months ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into our rescue. BOA HANCOCK is the seventh one to be ready for adoption.

BOA HANCOCK can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick. But will need patience. He's came from a HORRIBLE hoarding case. He can get startled, but will come back and investigate. He is such a sweet love bug!!!! All he wants is pets and love. He loves to be brushed. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. His purr box is very loud. He is between 15 to 18 lbs. now. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home.

For all you anime lovers, we originally named him THINKING he was a she. But we love the name and think it suits him. BOA is technically a uni-sex name.

BOA HANCOCK is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINE COON MIX. He is over 2 years old and is good with cats and lived with dogs. He has never been around children.

BOA HANCOCK is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California.

FEBRUARY 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.

Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 5 pm - 8 pm. You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

PETSMART
in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue

in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue

in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

********** PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS **********

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

BOA HANCOCK is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $250 covers:

Neutered
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!

If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us:
