Bo Peep's Story

Bo Peep is a petite little black cat shaped like a creme filled puff pastry, with a tiny frame, a round middle, and an absolutely enormous personality. Born in 2020, this sweet girl is a big fan of birds, bigger naps, and, most importantly, under-chin scritches. She isn't a fan of being picked up, but get down on her level and she'll happily rub her entire body all over your face, expose her belly for smooches, and generally remind you that she is one of the best girls around.

Bo Peep was initially pretty defensive when she arrived at the shelter, but we soon discovered she wasn't being difficult. She was in pain because her teeth were severely diseased from stomatitis, or sever gum inflammation. Those troublesome little chompers are now gone, and Bo Peep has absolutely no problem powering through both wet food and dry food with her toothless little mouth. She's even a huge fan of her weight-management food, despite its faint aroma of cardboard. She's tubby, she's toothless, she's nimble, she's ridiculous, and she is perfect. Bo Peep would love a quiet home with a gentle feline friend or, perhaps even better, a person all to herself. Give her a sunny window for bird-watching, a cozy spot for napping, a plate of snacks, and a million belly smooches, and she will be living the life she deserves. Take this stuffed strudel home! She needs you!

Health Information

Bo Peep has stomatitis, a condition that causes severe inflammation of the gums. Her diseased teeth have been removed, and she is currently doing wonderfully without them. She can eat both wet and dry food without difficulty. She receives prednisolone twice a week to help prevent painful gum inflammation, although her long-term medication plan should be monitored with her veterinarian.

Her adoption fee is $130 and includes:

* Spay surgery
* Vaccinations
* Flea & worm treatment
* Veterinary exam
* A starter bag of food

That's a $300 - $500 value, plus one tubby, toothless little tart who is ready to rub her face all over yours.
