Blythe Calico & Domestic Short Hair Mix Chattanooga, TN

Blythe was surrendered to us when her owner developed an allergy to cats. For a while, she remained shy and reserved, but as she acclimated to our cat room she became much the opposite! This gorgeous 4 year old girl rules the room (or at least she thinks she does) and proudly patrols around to show off her colorful coat and powerful personality. Blythe has much to say on many topics, and will often meow to let you know what’s on her mind. Laps are her favorite place in the world to be; all it takes is sitting down in her vicinity, and she immediately curls up and makes herself at home with you. If you’re looking for a lapcat that can hold meaningful conversation, Blythe might be just the match for you.

Blythe is particularly possessive of the people and things she likes, and for this reason can be testy with other felines. Because of this she would do best in a home with no other cats, or at least ones that let Blythe be in charge:) However, we have yet to find a human Blythe does not adore, and she has done well with kids in the past. Blythe does not enjoy riding in a car or being inside a carrier, but once in her own space she is calm and affectionate as can be.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $75 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
