Bluey (In Foster Care)'s Story

Bluey is a beautiful Siamese mix with striking eyes, a gentle spirit, and a heart full of quiet love. Currently thriving in a foster home, she's enjoying the comforts of family life while she waits for a forever home of her own. From her favorite cozy spots, Bluey takes in the world with curiosity, carefully exploring and thoughtfully observing before deciding you're worthy of her affection (don't worry, you probably are).

Like many sensitive cats, Bluey prefers to move at her own pace when meeting new people. But give her a little patience, a gentle voice, and the chance to build trust, and you'll discover something truly special. Once Bluey decides you're her person, her loyalty runs deep. She forms strong bonds, loves wholeheartedly, and becomes the kind of companion who is always quietly by your side.

Now, let's talk about her one tiny quirk, Bluey may or may not be allergic to... well... almost everything. Dust? Maybe. Certain foods? Possibly. The concept of chaos? Definitely. Think of her as a delicate flower with excellent taste. She thrives in a calm environment where her needs are understood and where a little extra TLC helps keep her feeling her best.

Bluey isn't just looking for a home, she's looking for her person. Someone who sees past a little shyness, appreciates a refined (and slightly sensitive) queen, and understands that the most meaningful relationships are built on trust. If you're ready for a loyal sidekick with elegance, depth, and just a touch of diva energy, Bluey is ready to quietly steal your heart.

A website can tell part of a pets story, but not all of it. You'll notice that some pets may be listed as unknown or may not receive a yes for things like house training, compatibility with children, other cats, or dogs. In many cases, this doesn't mean the answer is no, it means we cant guarantee the answer with complete certainty. Because every home, family, and pet dynamic is unique, behaviors in a shelter environment don't always predict behaviors in a home.

That's why adoption is about more than a website profile. Our team is here to share what we've observed, answer your questions, learn about your lifestyle, and help connect you with a pet that's the right fit for your family.

Pet Helpers Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our adoption process usually begins with potential adopters (21 or older) coming into the shelter to look around at our available animals. When we have a better idea of who we want to adopt the potential adopter fills out one of our adoption questionnaires which we will then look over. We do have to confirm certain information like an apartment complexes pet policies, verifying that current pets are up to date on their vaccines, etc. We also try to meet all the humans in the household as we believe adopting a new animal should be a group decision. With our dog adoptions we also require dog to dog meet and greets in order to help make sure the potential new dog is a good fit. We love nothing more than seeing our shelter animals find their forever homes and we do everything in our power to make sure each adoption is a happy and successful one. Everything we do is ultimately for the health and happiness of animals.
